The pattern itself does a lot of the talking — geometric Islamic motifs, floral cutouts, abstract linework, or a client’s own branding translated into a repeating pattern. Because it’s laser-cut rather than hand-cut or molded, every repeat in the pattern is identical, and even genuinely intricate designs come out clean.

Material Choices, and What They’re Actually Good For

Acrylic is the go-to when you want color, or when light is part of the design — frosted or tinted acrylic screens look completely different lit from behind versus lit from the front, which gives a lot of room to play with mood.

MDF and wood bring warmth that acrylic can’t match, and they’re the natural choice for majlis interiors, restaurants, and anywhere a project is aiming for a more traditional or organic feel. They also take paint and veneer finishes well if a specific tone is needed to match existing furniture.

Metal — usually stainless steel or aluminum — is where you go for something that has to hold up structurally on its own, like a freestanding room divider, or that needs to handle higher footfall areas without the finish wearing down.

Picking the right one isn’t just an aesthetic call. It depends on whether the panel needs to be load-bearing, how much light exposure it’ll get, and what kind of maintenance the space can realistically manage.
